• Swedavia choose Eltel as a service partner for the next several years


    After a careful assessment Swedavia, the Swedish Airport Authority, chooses Eltel as a contract partner for several years ahead. The scope of contract consists of communications and related services and its value is estimated at several million Euros per year. The contract period is three years with an option for another three years.

    More than 700 000 people travel daily by public transport in Stockholm. Eltel’s duty is 24/7 to perform fault repair and maintenance services for SL’s information systems, and thus help SL to keep public traffic running with minimal interruptions.

    Eltel Networks TE AB in Sweden has won in international competition a part of construction in Svenska Kraftnät’s SouthWest link project. Value of contract is EUR 19 million.

  • Eltel’s Power Transmission is back to Norway with a EUR 37 million contract


    Eltel’s Power Transmission has won a new contract with the Norwegian grid operator Statnett SF. The contract is about a new 46 km 420 kV line in the Southeastern part of Norway. Contract value is EUR 37 million.

    Official groundbreaking of Eltel’s electricity project took place in Dar-Es-Salaam on May 24. “Power is economy” was a statement by Mr. Muhongo, Minister for Energy and Minerals. “Development aid is good for this kind of infrastructure projects”, said Mr. Stubb, Minister for Foreign Trade and EU of Finland.

    Eltel Networks AS has signed a contract with the Norwegian Jernbaneverket on delivery of high and low voltage electricity systems and a telecom system. The double track section is 17 km long and located 60 km north of Oslo.
