Eltel Networks Infranet AB and Halmstads Energi och Miljö AB (HEM) are starting a collaboration within AMM* and have written a support agreement for HEM’s system for remote reading of meters.
Eltel is the market leader within AMM in Northern Europe. The business unit Eltel AMM supplies complete solutions and customer-specific services for meter reading to customers all over Northern Europe. Eltel has delivered complete solutions to over 800,000 customers in Scandinavia and has also been responsible for further 2.5 million meter installations. Eltel has a well developed service concept consisting of surveillance, support and field survey services.

The agreement means that Eltel will supply support services from its customer and support center outside of Copenhagen. The agreement also means an opportunity for HEM to suborder consultancy services and components in the form of meter equipment for Echelon’s NES-system.
Eltel’s support center is an important part of the offering on the market for AMM. Among their customers are several of Northern Europe’s leading companies within this area.

*AMM stands for Automatic Meter Management and is another name for AMR (Automatic Meter Reading).
