  After 10 years as president for Eltel’s business unit Power Transmission Martin Dahlgren has decided to step down and make room for a new leader. Fredrik Menander, today in charge of Transmission International, will take over the role as President of BU Transmission this summer. Lars Hammarstedt will become the new Director of Transmission International.

  After 4 ½ years as Chairman of Board of Eltel Group Corporation, Mr. Thomas Berglund has decided to leave the post and devote his time to other activities. Mr. Gérard Mohr, member of Eltel’s Board since May 2011, has been elected the new Chairman with immediate effect.

  

• Electrifying traffic in the Helsinki metropolitan area – Eltel takes an active role

  Introducing stations for charging electricity vehicles (EV) is moving forward in Northern Europe. Numerous pilot installations have been completed and larger rollouts are in preparation. Eltel has taken a pole position with its utility and technology partners.

  

• Eltel Power Transmission wins a project in Vietnam

  Eltel’s Power Transmission business unit has won a multi million euro contract with Northern Power Corporation, NPC, in Vietnam. The new contract is continuation to Eltel’s earlier project in Vietnam in 2004−2005.

  

• Eltel upgrades railway communication in Denmark
