• Eltel secures a long term contract with Swedish Aviation Authority

  On May 16, 2012, Eltel Network Infranet AB, Division Homeland Security and Aviation (HS&A) signed a new Framework Agreement with LFV regarding operations and maintenance services for the operational air traffic control systems (ANS equipment) and the surrounding systems, networks, and consulting services. The framework agreement is valued at approximately SEK 500 million and runs for 5 years beginning January 1, 2013, with an option for an additional 3 years.

  

• Eltel starts to execute National Grid projects in UK in JV with Carillion

  Eltel expands to UK – National Grid has awarded a framework agreement with potential value of £500m for the delivery of part of their 400 kV electricity transmission network upgrade programme. A joint venture formed between Eltel Networks and Carillion has signed an agreement with National Grid for the delivery of National Grid 400kV Overhead Upgrade Programme.

  

• Eltel enters the Ukrainian Power Transmission market

  Eltel has won two orders, totally worth of EUR 15 million, from the Ukraine National Power Company, Ukrenergo. The orders consist rehabilitation of two high voltage substations in the Donbas Power Grid. The projects are financed by the World Bank.
